Investor Relations.Marketing Associate- Hedge Fund

One of our Alternative Asset Management (Hedge Fund) clients is currently seeking to add another Asssociate to their growing Marketing/Investor Relations Team. This individual will sit at Firm's global headquarters in NYC and assist in all aspects of Fund Marketing/ Insititutional Client Service and Investment Performance Analysis

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Manage full range of marketing activities including fund raising, client communication, Sales/Advertising, and cliend due diligence

  • Assist in the development of strategic and analytical frameworks for investment product development

  • Work closely with Head of Marketing and help with business development efforts

  • Develop and nurture relationships with sophisticated institutional investors, such as: pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and insurance companies

  • Perform data analyses to drive insights and inform recommendations

  • Attend meetings, industry events, and conferences with PM’s to meet with potential investors and to represent the firm

  • Prepare & present due diligence findings to investment committees, Senior Management and Firm Clients.


  • 2+ years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience in sales, strategy consulting/ investment bank, or direct Hedge Fund Marketing/Investor Relations.

  • Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detail

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.

  • Self-starter with passion for Marketing/Investor Relations/product development and Capital Raising

  • Results-orientation with an ability to execute and complete deliverables in a timely manner

  • Strong leadership potential, with excellent inter-personal skills and collaboration abilities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
